With our monthly bookkeeping service we record your sales, purchases, expenses and bank transactions every month, reconcile them to the bank statements, keep receivable and payable lists up to date and send a one-page profit and loss report at month-end. Final accounts and the audit come straight from these books, so there is no year-end rush.
Our team has prepared final accounts for many SMEs that had kept no books all year. For one manufacturer, bank statement analysis showed close to a crore taka a year in deposits and payments that did not match the books. Keeping books monthly prevents that. We also keep books for foreign-owned subsidiaries and branch offices in Bangladesh, with reports in English for the parent company.

What we do every month
- Record sales, purchases, expenses and other vouchers
- Bank reconciliation for every bank account
- Customer-wise receivables and supplier-wise payables
- Salary entries from the payroll sheet, with tax deducted at source separated
- A one-page month-end report: profit and loss, cash position, large receivables and payables
- Sales and purchase lists for the VAT return (filing is handled by the tax.eomsbd.com team)
How you send documents
Send photos or scans of vouchers, invoices and bank statements once or twice a month by WhatsApp or email. For larger companies our staff visit your office on fixed days. Where documents are missing or unclear, we send a list of what we need.

Which software the books are kept in
If you already use accounting software, we keep the books there. If not, we keep them in our own system and give you a viewing login. When you leave, we hand over the full books in Excel, so your data is never locked in.
What the fee depends on
- Transactions per month (vouchers and bank entries)
- Number of bank accounts and branches
- Whether there are imports, exports or LCs

Frequently asked questions
Our business is small. Can we still use this?
Yes. Fewer transactions means a lower fee. For a very small shop, start with our free shop accounts template or the Excel ERP.
We have no books for the last few months or years. What now?
We first rebuild the missing period with backlog accounting, then start the monthly service.
Who sees our information?
One named accountant and one reviewer. We sign a confidentiality agreement before starting.
Do you file the VAT return too?
We prepare the sales and purchase lists from the books. Filing is done by our sister team at tax.eomsbd.com, so both stay consistent.
